General Meeting is a biannual consultation of all the ECG members. It has got the power to elect the Executive members, to adopt the constitution and to decide about the future directions of the network. The meeting always takes place in a different country, always in a place with certain importance - either there are our members located or there are interesting projects or partners to see & meet. This is very important for the visiting part of the meeting. We believe it is always interesting for the members to visit different projects & initiatives and to discuss about their findings, what is similar & what is different compared to their own work and what is the experience they will bring back home.
In 1999 the GM took place in Nürnberg in Germany, in 2001 in Most, Czech Republic, in 2003 in Great Yarmouth, UK, in 2005 in Bochum, and last year the meeting was organised in Göteborg, Sweden. |
