What is the role of refugee & migrant women in modern Europe? Europe is big! Europe is economically stronger. From the grass roots, we want to do our bit to contribute to a social and just Europe. Our experience with racism and discrimination, our perspective „from the bottom“, but also our strength and spirituality are good “ingredients” for this contribution. We also have our place in the European society. We offer as well as expect something. We expect equal position, respect and equal rights. We offer activism and full participation in development of civic society……….

W & W Net (Women and Work Network) is an international project focused on the position of women in the European labour market. It reacts on the precarious and unequal positions of women in the labour market and aims to contribute to the change of the current situation. It was set up in the spring 2003 in order to empower and train women activists to support disadvantaged women in Europe (e.g. unemployed women, young women with no working experience, early school leavers, trafficked women, teenage mothers, women before retirement, women from remote and disadvantaged regions and women working in the informal sector). "I am going home full of ideas and new experiences. It is a real learning partnership and I am convinced that we can do things better together."
